Who can benefit?

  • We help people 4-104
  • Teens and kids with recent hospital discharges for addictions, mental health diagnoses, chronic health issues
  • Adults who are newly sober, just discharged from a psychiatric admission or dealing with a new or ongoing chronic health issue
  • Seniors who are recently discharged and need assistance with community resources and decision making

The goal is to reduce re-admissions, help between Doctor or Therapist visits. This is affordable at $65 per visit or $175 for a package of three 40 minute (totaling 2 hours) of support. Meeting is virtual, and we can do research and pull it all together for you – providing you resources in the community that can help.

 

➢ Family Mediation

 

What is family mediation?

We provide virtual non-court-going Family Mediation Services by a Florida Certified Family Mediator. Mediation is different than Counseling – it is short term and goal-oriented to reach a resolution quickly for all parties.

We provide these services to:

  • Family businesses:
    • Successful planning for the future of the company
    • Organizational development
    • Increased communication among members
    • Promote collaborative decision making
  • Elder mediation:
    • Family decision making
    • Financial and medical decisions about the future
  • Marital:
    • If you have not decided if you will divorce separate or stay together
      this is a chance to clarify putting the decision on a maybe or moving forward with objectivity

This highly-skilled cooperative objective expert will create an open dialogue.

These are typically three sessions:

  • One 60-minute intake assessment where you meet virtually with the mediator and discuss your goals and wants out of the time rate is $169.
  • Two 1.5 hour follow-up mediation sessions scheduled at two different times are $195 each or if you pay for both up front $399 for the two.

Dr. Halina, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, and has worked extensively in private practice, with individuals, families, and groups, as well as in public health. She is also a specialist in Senior Counseling for Women, Couples Work and Children Therapy. Her approach is short-term, result- oriented therapy to achieve continuous improvement. Diane attended Case Western Reserve Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, one of the top 9 schools as rated by US News and World Report. She has spoken extensively in the media and professionally. Diane offers Registered Intern supervision groups, bibliotherapy and codependency group facilitation, as well as Family Mediation non court services.

Eric is an experienced therapist with over 15 years of experience and helps men, adolescent boys/children and families. For adult males: improving relationship communication, healing and increasing trust after an affair, addressing addictions, depression/anxiety, work and financial stressors, self esteem improvement, fatherhood, increasing energy levels. For adolescents and boys: improving relationships at home, increasing self esteem, and tools for anger management. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. His down to earth, straight forward approach makes it easy for men and boys to talk with him to find solutions in their lives. Eric is an expert in ADHD/Austim Spectrum, and Sensory Kids and parents. Eric does cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) to reduce anxiety and depression in men, women, adolescent boys and children. Jordan Earle, BA, MSW, LCSW

Jordan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has experience working with children, teens, families, and adults. She graduated from Saint Leo University with a Master of Social Work degree in 2017. At the core of Jordan’s clinical work is the fundamental belief that everyone has the potential for positive growth and change. Utilizing a strengths based approach, Jordan is passionate about helping others identify their unique abilities and empowering them with the tools and support needed to make desired change. Jordan has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She has completed Adoption Competency training and has experience working with families to restore feelings of trust and safety following a separation. Jordan believes that when you face your trauma and share it with another, you begin to take its power away. Her goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to do so and to support you as you work toward your goals.

Nadja von Malotki, BA, MSW, LCSW

Nadja is a licensed clinical social worker who has 8+ years of experience in case management, support counseling/therapy, and social work with diverse populations. She has worked with individuals (children, youth, and adults), couples, and families/groups in the community, office, hospital, and school settings and focuses on her clients’ needs as well as strengths. Nadja is certified in Hypnosis Accelerated Processing Interventions, and completed trainings in Adoption Competency, and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. As a kind-hearted, approachable, compassionate, and empathetic clinician, Nadja empowers her clients and assists them on their journey of finding individualized solutions and ultimately improving their overall quality of life. Eileen Dobrinski, LMHC

Eileen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with children, teens, and families. Eileen has worked in the community in a variety of roles where she has gained experience in working with diverse populations. Eileen will help individuals develop the tools they need to cope with the challenges they face by focusing on their strengths and utilizing interventions that are effective. Eileen has worked with individuals that have experienced a variety of mental health challenges that includes trauma/PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and ADHD. Eileen has helped and provided parents the tools they need to improve their parenting skills and manage conflict in the home. Whitney Shadowens, LCSW, MA, MSW

Whitney is a registered clinical social work intern with a master’s degree in social work from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in women and gender studies from the University of Florida. Prior to obtaining her degree in social work, she worked with survivors of domestic violence in Gainesville, Florida for 8 years. Through this work, she gained an extensive understanding of the unique challenges created by experiences of family violence, intimate partner abuse, and sexual abuse. She utilizes a trauma-informed approach to guide the therapeutic relationship and support healing. Whitney also has experience with depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

As a therapist, Whitney provides a warm, person-centered, and strengths-based approach tailored to each individual and situation. She believes therapy is a collaborative effort fostered by safety, trust, and nonjudgmental support. Her mission is to empower clients to overcome challenges and achieve their goals by supporting them as they develop personal insight, understand how their experiences have shaped them, and increase coping skills.
