Diane Miller-Mandell, MSSA LISW LCSW
Since 1993, Diane Miller-Mandell, the owner and founder of Family Counseling Center, Inc. has led our team of male and female therapists. Diane attended Case Western Reserve University touted as one of the
10 top nationwide schools per US News and World Report
2008 rankings in the field in the nation. She has spoken extensively in the media and started Bibliotherapy
at Borders Books and Music in Westlake Ohio. Diane
specializes in relationship communication tune ups, self
esteem building and coaching, tools to decrease
codependency and increase boundaries , effective
negotiation win-win strategies to utilize in getting
what you need in relationships,
healing loss and grief during life transitions,
parenting skills, stress management reduction through
guided imagery . Diane is an enthusiastic, warm
therapist with 20 years of experience in meeting you
where you are and helping you get where you want to get.

Joy A. Davis, LCSW
Joy brings almost 20 years
of experience in the field. She specializes in the
treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, mood disorders,
and general life adjustment issues for ages 12 and up.
Joy received her master’s degree from Virginia
Commonwealth University in 1987 and has since worked in
hospitals, schools, residential programs, and outpatient
settings. In addition to meeting with her clients
individually and as a family, Joy conducts various
groups to include Body Image Therapy, Living with
Depression, and Coping Skills for Women with Eating
Disorders. She frequently incorporates artwork, music,
structured journaling and guided imagery into sessions
when clients wish to explore issues beyond the spoken
word. Joy is known for her love of her work, her
affirming, gentle-but-direct style and her ability to
connect with clients in a real & personal way.

Judy Becker, MS, LMHC
Judy is a
Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is adept at helping
people tap into their inner resources and learn tools to
create happy, successful lives. In an atmosphere of
warmth and trust, Judy assists clients in building
self-esteem, uncovering creative potential and forming
healthy relationships. She works with clients who
struggle with issues such as depression and anxiety,
substance abuse, and deeply ingrained trauma, helping
them emerge from the darkness with hope and promise.

June
Ferguson, RMHC, M.A
June is a registered mental health counselor and has a
certification in marriage and family therapy. She
received her masters in mental Health and rehabilitation
therapy from the University of South Florida. June
specializes in adolescent/young adult issues. Prior to
joining the counseling center, June has worked as a
school guidance counselor and therapist at a facility
for troubled teens. She has also worked in a private
practice setting with families and individuals. June has
great energy and identifies with the young adult
population easily. Her goal is to nurture your personal
growth and assist you with the tools you need to handle
challenges in a positive and successful manor and one
that is comfortable for you. |

Eric Mandell MSW
Eric is a
registered intern who has experience working with
children, adults, and families. He is also excellent
with tools for anxiety reduction strategies. As a
graduate of the University of Cincinnati, he brings a
down to earth and gentle style to his counseling. He
looks at the whole person in his approach. He is pleased
to offer a sliding fee scale. |
